During the descent, fixed ropes will ensure safety, with crampons essential for stability. Participants will enjoy views of the striking Laila Peak (6,096m) and other peaks as they navigate the descent. Careful footing is crucial to avoid dislodging stones onto team members. The trek becomes easier as the trails merge. Participants will pass stone huts built by herders and settlers. They’ll notice signs of settlement and enjoy the lower altitude with bigger trees. Camp will be set up at Saicho (3,350m), a sandy area with sparse grass and flowing glacier streams.
